Our Tencel top is made from eucalyptus, so it breathes better than cotton (and far better than an air bed), stays naturally hygienic, and unzips to wash at 30°C, so every adventure starts on a fresh bed.

Five stars. The Snuuzu air mattress is a game-changer for Tesla Model Y road trips. Setup is ridiculously fast and easy—unfold it in the back, turn on the built-in rechargeable motorized inflator and it fills up in no time with zero hassle. Deflating is just as simple when you’re done. The fabric feels premium and durable, way better than the thin, crinkly stuff on cheaper mattresses, and it holds air without any leaks. Most importantly, it’s genuinely comfortable—I actually got a solid night’s sleep in the back of my Model Y. One small tip: park with the rear tires slightly higher than the front to offset the natural slope and keep things perfectly level. Other than that, no complaints. Highly recommend if you want to turn your Model Y into a cozy camper.

We also had to smile at the photo, as it looks like you may have found a one parking angle that makes the Model Y’s natural slope look more dramatic than it normally is. 😉 As you mentioned, parking in the opposite direction or with the rear wheels slightly higher levels everything out beautifully as almost no parking ground is even.

We are super impressed with the comfort of the Snuuzu mattress! It is more like a mattress that you'd have in your home, than a car camping air mattress. We did not get cold like we always do on regular air mattresses, and it is so soft and comfy. It is still necessary to level the car properly so you're not sliding toward the trunk door however. It is a process to get the vehicle at the proper angle to level in the bed, but once that is figured out, it is a joy to sleep on. The pillows are also very comfortable.
After sleeping on the Snuuzu Model Y mattress I can see why the expeience is so magical. An amazing car paired with an amazing product like the Snuuzu mattress means that so many people will be able to adventure sustainably and less expensively throughout the world!

I'm genuinely impressed. The Snuuzu is incredibly comfortable, far beyond what I expected.
I’ve owned both the DreamCase Gen2 and Gen3, and while they’re decent products, the Snuuzu is on another level. The comfort, fit, and overall quality are simply better. I can confidently say that the Snuuzu outperforms the DreamCase in every way that matters to me.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to camp or rest in their Tesla.
This mattress is everything I have hoped for and more! I live and work on a private yacht and I want to do nothing more than sleep in my car. My mattress on the boat I’ve realized is absolutely terrible. If anyone needs me I'll be sleeping in my car out in the parking lot!
My first trip out with the mattress was a smashing success. A friend who is not fond of camping in the slightest tagged along for the first time. He would not stop raving about how comfortable the mattress is and he is in love with the pillows!!!

The mattress is great, and the pillows are excellent. I think I was a little surprised because I thought, as a 6'6" man, I would be able to easily fit in the car, and I can, though I have to do so at an angle. The changes in verticality are still noticeable. Still, great mattress and fantastic pillows. Not perfect, but damn close
I love it so far! I was surprised by the smell it had at first. Had to leave it open with windows down for a couple days. I was surprised I didn’t hear that on any YouTube videos or reviews. I was happy to see it come with a second pump but was a little sad when the second pump looks like it has a flashlight feature but even fully charged, I couldn’t get it to work.
Very Quick and Comfortable
Guess it was close to 70 years ago. My buddy Doug and I were on a Boy Scout camping event somewhere in Napa, California. We were assigned to a two man pup tent with floor. There was a small grade on the hill so we dutifully staked the tent to the ground an crawled into our sleeping bags. During the night it rained and the pegs pulled out and tent and all slipped into the creak below. Fortunately it was not a big creak so all we got was wet and very cold. We got a merit badge for lighting a fire in the rain to keep our teeth from chattering.
So, I have been a stickler for having a level bed ever since. The Snuuzu bed is super comfortable but in the Tesla Model X it slants to the rear.
Camper Leveler by andersenhitches.com is the solution. Note: Just put your suspension on very high before you back on. Then lower once level.
I will probably do a YouTube video once the weather cools down.

Super comfy! Love the mix of air and foam. Love how it doesn’t dip at the front corners. Would appreciate something to correct the angle between the incline of the seats and the flat back floor.
I’ve slept in my Tesla Model Y on a couple of previous trips using a different setup, but this was my first night using the Snuuzu mattress and pillows, and it was by far the most comfortable setup I’ve tried.
The first thing that impressed me was how plush and substantial the mattress feels. It doesn’t feel like a typical camping mattress or a thin pad placed over folded seats. It feels thoughtfully designed and very well constructed, with enough cushioning and support that the back of my Tesla genuinely felt like a small, cozy sleeping cabin rather than a compromise.
The whole setup also feels very well engineered for the space. The mattress fits the vehicle beautifully and makes good use of the available room without feeling awkward or improvised. After having slept in my Tesla before with a much less comfortable setup, the difference was immediately noticeable.
I took it on a road trip to Bend, Oregon, where I spent the night at a Harvest Hosts location. I slept comfortably through the night and was genuinely impressed by how cozy the whole experience felt.
I did wake up the next morning with a little crook in my back, but after a long day of driving and sleeping somewhere different from usual, I have no idea whether the mattress had anything to do with it. It certainly didn’t feel uncomfortable while I was sleeping, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it feels over several more trips.
I also have to give a special mention to the Snuuzu pillow. I’ve struggled for years to find a pillow that doesn’t leave my neck hurting, and I normally alternate between two different types on my bed at home. The Snuuzu pillow was so comfortable that after just one night, I’m seriously considering bringing it inside and using it as my regular sleeping pillow. That may be the biggest compliment I can give it!
The value is especially impressive to me. I bought the mattress and pillows on sale for about $900. Hotels I looked at in Bend were around $450 for the night, while my Harvest Hosts stay was free. So by my road-trip math, one night already offset about half the cost of my mattress and pillows!
So far, I’m delighted with my purchase. The mattress is plush, well made, and thoughtfully engineered, the pillow is fantastic, and my Tesla has become an extremely comfortable little road-trip cabin. I’m looking forward to a lot more nights sleeping on my Snuuzu.
